Somehow I talked my husband into waiting almost a year and a half after our wedding to take our honeymoon because Serrana didn’t have any available dates! I totally understood why now as did my husband because this place is beautiful and so worth the wait! Janus was a wonderful host and rescued us on the 1st day because we were trying to find the villa and we became lost. A few days ago Janus took us around to view the other beautiful properties he own. While you are here, head over to Sulphur Springs(drive-in volcano) this is a must!! Don’t be afraid to try the mud bath it is such an experience. While in St. Lucia we visited Anse Chastanet beach, the water is clear and the staff there are very helpful. You can rent beach chair for U.S $12 per person. Make sure you bring a towel or two the hotel charges U.S $6.00 for 1 towel. After coming from the beach we jumped in the pool and went to dinner at Dasheen located on the grounds of ladera resort. The food was okay but the view I believe is what you really pay for… it is breathtaking . Our last day or night was dinner prepared by Chef Ramc. He prepared a delicious meal, we finished every bite. You have to experience chef ramc for yourself. The Janus experience as I would like to call it, is second to none!!! Food: pier 28 (open from 1pm- 10:00pm)- have the best wings and fries Fedo’s (open from 9:00am- 5:00pm) closed on Sunday, serves authentic local food. Great spot for breakfast although they serve lunch as well Valelse (sports bat) the staff there are very friendly and the food is not too bad Gen’s Mwen (open from 10am until) we only visited for breakfast but they have a full bar set up and serve lunch and dinner P.S – If you rent a vehicle, I definitely recommend it. Within 5 days, but certainly before we didn’t need the gps system anymore because we started to learn our way around Alicia & Richard 2019 (cant wait to stay in SABA)

Two of the most common are planes and cruise ships. If you are curious where you will be arriving and how you will get to your destination, this article will help answer your questions. For travelers arriving by cruise ship, docking takes place in different places in Castries. There are many berths where ships may dock, including both those near the center of town and those near the large duty-free marketplace. Travelers arriving by air often land at Hewanorra International Airport which is located at the southernmost part of the island, while those coming from other Caribbean areas or via charter planes are likely to land in Castries at George FL Charles Airport. Both offer Saint Lucia car rental agencies, tourist centers, and more. Once you arrive in St. Lucia, you should be prepared to show your passport as well as to fill out a brief immigration form as well as customs declarations. For easy transit to your St Lucia rental villa or resort, a great option is to choose a VIP transfer from St Lucia Executive. You will find that they offer not only the best vehicles, but local guides who are happy to welcome you to the island and willing to make any extra stops that you may wish to book along the way. For a real VIP experience from the moment you arrive, St. Lucia Executive is the only way to go! For The best low cost deals on St. Lucia airport transfers and taxis - Try St Lucia Airport Transfers.com The island of St Lucia is a fantastic destination for the adventurous spirit. With volcanic pools to bathe in, mountains to climb and an underwater world to explore, the intrepid traveller will never be bored here. If you want to indulge your inner Tarzan and enjoy an adrenaline rush like no other, join us for a trip to the less visited eastern side of the island for the ultimate jungle adventure. The Real St. Lucia Zipline Tour kicks off with a drive to the fishing town of Dennery, about 40 minutes from Castries. Dennery lies at the mouth of the Dennery River. Just to the west of Dennery along the banks of the river we stop at Treetop Adventure Park, home to the Caribbean’s best zipline. Here you get to sweep through the rainforest canopy high above the ground at speeds that will take your breath away. There are 12 lines, the longest of which stretches for 800 feet through the treetops. All in all you’ll cover 5,100 thrilling feet, with the highest point a dizzying 150 feet, or about 15 storeys, above solid ground. Protective gear, including harnesses, a helmet and gloves, are provided. Trained guides will be with you on every platform to ensure that you have an unforgettable but, above all, safe experience. During the adventure, you can admire the rainforest of St Lucia from a different angle and maybe even spot birds, reptiles, insects and arachnids that you wouldn’t otherwise have seen. Afterwards, you may want to see the forest in a more traditional way, which you get to do as we drive the short distance to Errand Falls, also known as Dennery Falls or Sault Falls. With a drop of about 55 feet, they’re among the island’s highest waterfalls. Instead of simply admiring the falls from afar, take a dip in the pool and let the cascading water massage your shoulders while you find respite from the tropical heat. After a refreshing swim, our knowledgeable staff at Real St Lucia Tours will take you back to Castries, giving you the opportunity to admire the scenic beauty of the island’s banana plantations and rainforests along the way. We drop you off at your hotel or cruise ship, where you can decide how to continue your St Lucia adventure. How long does the tour take? The entire tour lasts for about 4 hours, making it the perfect choice for a St. Lucia shore excursion or a morning out during a vacation. Who can take part? You don’t have to be a super fit and agile monkey to enjoy the ziplines but you shouldn’t be a complete couch potato either. The lines are not recommended for people with mobility issues, a heart condition or who are pregnant. You shouldn’t weigh more than 250 pounds. There is a minimum height requirement of 50 inches but this doesn’t mean that small children can’t enjoy the zipline adventure too. There is a special mini-zipline for children older than 3 years. What should I wear? It’s recommended that you wear comfortable clothes with trainers or closed sandals. Flip-flops aren’t allowed on the ziplines. Remember to bring your bathing suit for the swim at the Errand Falls! With so many amazing tours in St Lucia, here's one of the best things to do while in Saint Lucia.5/3/2013
A review of A Real St. Lucia Tour Excursion and airport transfer review from a travel memberHello Janus, We had a wonderful time while in St. Lucia...and with the sleeting rain here at home I already wish I was back! Sam was our transfer driver from UVF to Smuggler's Resort and he was awesome. Very friendly and talkative...we felt like we got a bonus island tour while he drove us to Cap Estate. He was a smooth and responsible driver and I can't emphasize how safe me made me feel with my young son in his car. He offered as many stops as we needed, both to view the sites and use the toilet. All around a nice guy and great transfer driver. Kenson was our tour Saint Lucia Tour Guide. Compared to Sam he was much quieter, but still curteous and a safe driver. Charlerie (I'm sorry I don't know how to spell the name) was our transfer driver from Smuggler's Resort to UVF. He was punctual (even a bit early which saved my husband taking me too look at the Emerald shop) and like the other drivers, friendly, curteous, and had a clean vehicle. In all regards, we would use your service again. If booking another tour, we'd probably request Sam. You should give that guy a raise! Thanks, Anne TWO comfortable flights from Paradise, thank you. What a perfect ending and surprise to our trip, the revealing of the "mystery" man, Janus. We haven't stopped laughing about the "surprise" driver we had from our resort to the airport. He was so personable and knowledgeable. Oh, wait a minute. That was you. Can't say enough about the excellent service. The return trip to the Hewanorra Airport went so fast because of the conversation. The car was amazing! The promptness was perfect. The ease of confirming the ride was even easier and the professionalism of your company is unsurpassed. Janus, you made our vacation perfect from "beginning" to "end." Again, thanks for the "surprise" ending. It is a moment we shall never forget. Thank you, again. Dennis and Jeanne Illinois We were thrilled that we chose Janus' St Lucia airport shuttle. They were very professional and were less expensive than the competition. Additionally, we felt that we got much more than just a ride from the airport, we really got a personal tour of the island. I would absolutely recommend Janus' St Lucia airport shuttle to anyone travelling to St Lucia. More St. Lucia Airport transportation reviews from our very happy travel family. Hi Janus, Thank you again for helping to arrange our transportation to the airport. Our driver was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the island, and pleasant company. I could not have been more satisfied with the service. I will certainly recommend your company to any friends of mine that travel to St. Lucia. Thanks again for all your assistance. Best, Alexa Sabedra Hello Janus, I'd like to compliment you on your airport shuttle service to & from our hotel. Both drivers (Jay & Sam) were on time; were friendly & informative.
